Restaurant
You can also enjoy breakfast and evening meals on location at the restaurant located within Boschi di Montecalvi. We offer an assortment of traditional Tuscan recipes and are equipped to serve guests with nonstandard diets, like vegans and vegetarians. At our restaurant, you can taste local produce and other food products, such as organic oil that has cold pressed from locally sourced, hand-picked crops.
We also serve several wines that we obtained from Casadei, a well-known local winery. If you have a large enough party and would like to arrange a wine tour, please contact our booking office in advance.
High Quality Organic Oil
When Carla and Luciano, the current owners, bought Boschi di Montecalvi in 1994, the farm had already been abandoned for thirty years and so the land was already perfectly suited for planting organic crops. Indeed, the permissions of the body in charge of control (CCPB) arrived immediately, allowing us to create an olive grove cultivated with strict organic criteria, which today counts more than 1200 plants.
Today, from our olive trees comes a high quality organic extra virgin olive oil, which we produce and sell.
A Charming Farmhouse
This estate was founded upon the remains of ancient Casales that were built during the second half of the 19th century. Through extensive renovations of the property, we have created comfortable residences that accurately capture the historic architectural traditions of beautiful Tuscany.
Our property lies on a hilly land, from which we can dominate a breathtaking panorama, between the sea of the Etruscan Coast and hills, green and blue, protected, because of its uniqueness, by very strict regulations, which guarantee that no one can ever change it.
Boschi di Montecalvi is a terrace overlooking Punta Ala and the Bay of Follonica, an oasis in which to regenerate the mind, letting nature and silence envelop you, but also the body, having fun with the many sports activities that the farmhouse offers.
The famous Etruscan Coast with its beautiful beaches (Rimigliano pine forest and the Bay of Baratti, for example) is only 20 minutes away by car, and the ancient medieval town of Suvereto, only ⅚ minutes away.
